another groundbreaking idea comes from Blake Mycoskie, founder of toms shoes, … for every purchased pair of shoes from toms shoes, toms will give one pair of shoes to a child in need!
they exist since May 2006 and have given over 60,000 pair of shoes to kids in argentina and south africa.
in 2008, their goal is to give 200,000 shoes to kids!
thus… go to www.tomsshoes.com and buy some!!!

Okay, i really dont want to be the guy with the black view, but as i have seen Toms on the fair, i made me my thoughts if this project is really as much meaningfull as it seems to be on the first moment.
For the kids who get this gift, it is totally normal to walk barefoot, and this is the best thing for the feet. Arent there so many other things they need, which are definitly more urgent? Food? School Education?
In my opinion this is a not well thought through marketing move, and i dont like this facile behaviour scratching on the surface to let it look more sensfull as it is…
Hey there
Just wanted to say Thanks for writing about TOMS in your blog. Will you send me your mailing address? I’d love to send you a little gift to show our appreciation.
Thanks, and take care!
